Smasne Cellars captures the true expressions of veteran Winemaker Robert O. Smasne and his efforts to hand-craft small lots of artisan wines from specific vineyards and appellations within Washington State.

These limited-release wines are the highlights of the vintage, wines worthy of cellar aging, and wines carefully selected to carry his family name.

Members can select from 3 or 6 bottle shipments.

As a member of The Inspired by Terroir Wine Club, you will be guaranteed an allocation of boxed sets of our AlmaTerra Syrah and Viognier wines that will be shipped to you automatically.
The AlmaTerra Project is a collaboration between renowned geologist-viticulturist Dr. Alan Busacca, our winemaker Robert Smasne, who is from a fourth-generation Northwest farming family, and passionate wine-grape growers.
AlmaTerra means ‘spirit of the Earth’ or ‘Earth’s soul’ and our goal is to present to you wines that reflect the balance of Earth’s magic and farming’s bounty. The grapes for AlmaTerra Syrah wines are grown in select vineyards in Washington State that are wonderfully terroir-expressive. Grapes from each vineyard were treated identically in making these wines, so that what you taste in each is the pure expression of vineyard terroir…manifestations of the magic, mystery and spirit of the Earth.
