Ray's Boathouse 6049 Seaview Ave. NW Seattle,WA Smasne Cellars Rosella is a wonderful summertime gem that focuses on the pure expression of fruit, capturing its brilliant beauty within the glass. Loaded with ripe cherry, raspberry and strawberry flavors, and backed by muscat perfume, it explodes on the palate with lush jam, rich texture and lively acidity. A hint of pure fruit sweetness lingers on the finish. “Rosella was originally intended to be a “Family” only wine and was made in very limited quantities, each vintage intended as a gift to be shared with family and friends throughout the summer. However, with a little friendly arm-twisting, I slightly increased the quantities to make it available for others to enjoy as well. Rosella is inspired by the memory of my grandmother, Roselle, who dedicated her life to a career teaching children. We are proud to share this special limited-release wine with you in honor of her life and the lessons her life taught us all. Each vintage, our family will donate the proceeds of the sale of Rosella to support the youth of the Pacific Northwest and the Lower Valley Hospice. Echo and I, and our children Kaitlin, Bailey, Blake, and Konner Ray, thank you for supporting our efforts. With your help, we can make a difference in the quality of life for those who need it most.
